Surabaya, October 6, 2022 – PT Pos Logistik Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) has the opportunity to collaborate with a subsidiary of the State Electricity Company (PLN), namely PT PLN Nusantara Power in realizing a reduction in logistics prices in Indonesia. The collaboration between the two state-owned companies is related to transportation and logistics services in the distribution of project materials and storage needs for PJB project supporting materials in certain areas.
One example of an upcoming project is the PLTS construction project in the outer islands of Indonesia, to be precise in Miangas, North Sulawesi. In distribution, a goods collection hub is needed at that point, where PT Pos Logistik Indonesia synergizes together to help facilitate logistics delivery services at minimum prices.
In realizing the reduction in logistics prices, the collaboration between PT Pos Logistik Indonesia and PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB) will be mutually beneficial for all parties. Later, the cost will be reduced by the price previously set, so that it can focus more on supporting each other’s company needs.
Currently, there are more than 5000 thousand warehousing points throughout Indonesia, which will ease the long-term management of various PLN Nusantara Power projects. In addition, the fleet will be ready 24/7 for delivery throughout Indonesia. In realizing this, it is important to streamline transportation into a multi-industry system, i.e. departure and return fleets must carry cargo, so that logistics costs will decrease. Not to forget the distribution of loads safely and on-time.
The signing of the MoU of cooperation between the two state-owned companies was held on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Located at the East Java International Expo Surabaya, East Java, at 11.00 WIB. The event will be part of the PJB Connect 2022 Exhibition & Conference series of events “SYNERGIZE THE NEW POWER OR THE FUTURE”. Also present were Mr. Faisal Djoemadi as President Director of PT Pos Indonesia, Mr. Ardian Cholid as President Director of PT Pos Logistik Indonesia and Mr. Muhamad Reza as Director of Business and Commerce Development of PT PLN Nusantara Power.
